Tallow & Pine
How we work

Prep is everything.

Anyone can roll on a coat. A finish that still looks right in five years comes from the day before — masking, filling, sanding, and priming. Here’s our process, step by step.

  1. 01

    Protect

Furniture moved or covered, floors masked, fixtures and hardware removed. Dust containment on drywall and tile work. Your home is treated like a job site, not a mess.

  2. 02

    Prep

The day that makes the difference — fill, sand, caulk, scrape, and wash. We fix nail pops, cracks, and bad patches before any color goes on. Prep is the job.

  3. 03

    Prime

Bare wood, repairs, stains, and color changes get the right bonding or stain-blocking primer so the finish lays even and lasts.

  4. 04

    Finish

Two full coats, cut clean, brushed, rolled, or sprayed to the surface. Trim and doors sharp, lines crisp, sheen consistent.

  5. 05

    Clean up

Hardware reinstalled, masking pulled, floors vacuumed, and a final walk-through with you. We don’t leave until you’d call it done.
