The things people ask us.
Prep, timelines, brands, warranty, lead-safe work, and what it’s like to live through a project. If yours isn’t here, just call or text.
A lot — it’s where a finish is won or lost. Before any color goes on we move or cover furniture, mask floors and fixtures, fill and sand holes and cracks, caulk gaps, scrape loose material, wash surfaces, and spot-prime repairs and bare wood. On exteriors we power-wash and scrape first. The prep day is the day that makes the result last.
A single room is typically 1–2 days; a whole-home interior runs about a week. Cabinet refinishing is usually 3–4 days (doors are sprayed off-site). A single-story exterior is 3–6 days depending on prep and weather. Tile and drywall vary by scope — your written estimate includes a realistic schedule.
We use premium professional lines — Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore for most work, plus cabinet-grade enamels for spray jobs. We choose the product to the surface and your goals, and we’re happy to spec low- and zero-VOC, Greenguard-certified options for sensitive households.
Yes. Every job carries a written 3-year workmanship warranty: if our work peels, cracks, or fails from our application, we come back and make it right. We also do a free touch-up visit within 60 days for any settling cracks.
We are an EPA Lead-Safe Certified (RRP) firm. For pre-1978 homes we follow federal lead-safe practices — containment, careful surface work, HEPA cleanup, and verification — to protect your family and our crew. It’s required by law, and we never cut corners on it.
It depends on size, surfaces, prep, and product, but as a guide: a typical bedroom runs $420–$700, a whole-home interior $4k–$12k, cabinet refinishing $2,800–$6,000, and a single-story exterior $3,200–$8,500. Every project gets a free, itemized written estimate — no surprises.
Almost always, yes. We work room by room, use low-odor and low-VOC products where it matters, contain dust on drywall and tile work, and clean up every day. We’ll talk through which rooms are off-limits while finishes cure and plan around pets and kids.
That’s our favorite part. A free color consult with Nadia pairs palettes to your light, fixtures, and how you live in the room, and we can put up large sample boards so you see the real color before we commit. Indecision is normal — that’s what we’re for.
